A planting hobby

Already mid of July. Time flies. 2020 so far not a bad year for me. True, ada pandemic melanda, ramai orang terlibat. Terpaksa PKP kat rumah terkurung, a lot of things tertangguh dan jadi susah, dan tak dapat balik kampung for a long time. Also I don't enjoy having to queue in crazy long lines everywhere. Still, in comparison, this year is more okay for me in one or two aspects.

I am currently waiting for a few parcels (Shopee orders) to arrive today. One of the is from a nursery. I ordered 2 pots of Scindapsus, 1 spider plant and 1 Epipremnum Njoy. Originally, the Njoy was out of stock so I ordered 3 Scindapsus. Then I messaged the shop to ask when will they restock, and turns out there's 1 Njoy left, so I swapped that with one of the Scindapsus. Exciting. 

A lot of people started caring for plant during PKP as they cannot go out as usual, some developed cooking and baking skill, some got really into interior decorations. I love plants since ever, but my collection really grows when I moved here in this house because it's in ground floor. Started with edible plants (still my favorite) but now getting more interested with indoor decoration plants. 

I ordered some succulents online the other day. Some arrived in good condition, some has very dry soil and some has really wet soil and already smells funny. It haven't spend much reading on the plant needs and care, I end up giving the plants too much water and worsened the condition for some of them. Also made the mistake of repotting them into a big pot too fast, thus killing 3 to 4 of them. Jahanam.
